This suite features a Sterns & Foster Luxury queen-size sleep set, hardwood floors, a log-burning fireplace for romantic evening enjoyment, and restored stained glass windows. Full-size armchairs and coffee tables. The suite has exclusive access to an outdoor area with bistro seating on the front porch, overlooking the quiet tree-lined street. There is a full bathroom with a claw foot bathtub & shower with custom vanity. Located on the main floor of the house (not the ground floor), suite 102 features a living area with a queen-size Sterns & Foster Luxury Sleep Set and comfortable high-back armchairs for lounging, reading, and enjoying the wood-burning fireplace. With an outdoor front porch with a bistro table and chairs to sit and enjoy the quiet tree-lined streetscape of West 6th Avenue Kitsilano, Bedding includes:
- Luxury cotton bed linens.
- A down & down alternative duvet comforters.
- A selection of down and quallofil pillows ensures a night of restful sleep for all preferences.
Bedside tables with classic lighting and additional coffee tables. Lots of light and air with a large opening window for fresh air and restored stained-glass window.
The kitchen features custom fir wood cabinets, granite countertops, and modern appliances, including an electric range, exterior vented range hood, apartment-sized refrigerator, and microwave. Accessories include a toaster, coffee maker, blender, quality stainless pots & pans, porcelain dishware, a wide assortment of cups, glasses & stemware, stainless cutlery, and a selection of kitchen tools and knives. In addition, mixing bowls, plastic storage containers, cutting boards, and serving plates & bowls are included for those who want to entertain or enjoy extended stays.
The bathroom features the original claw foot bathtub that has been refinished and includes brand new chrome heritage fixtures imported from Italy. Featuring luxury hotel-quality white cotton bath towels, hand towels, and face clothes. In addition, we provide a hair dryer, beach towels, and a First Aid Kit for your convenience, enjoyment, and safety. The natural gas-fired on-demand water system ensures an endless supply of hot water.
Closet & storage area including space for hanging everything from blouses & dresses and shirts & jackets to long coats and full-length gowns. With a separate dresser and closet shelves for any additional storage that may be required. For added convenience, there are a clothes iron, ironing board, hair dryer, vacuum, Swifter, floor mop, broom & dustpan.
Our on-staff professional cleaners ensure a very high level of cleanliness throughout the suite. Cleaning services range in price from $75 – $125 depending on which suite and frequency of cleaning. Laundry service rates are available by request.
The laundry room is on the ground floor, on the east side of the building. It features a commercial-size coin-operated (2 x $1 coin) washer & dryer with complimentary laundry soap, bleach, stain remover, and fabric softener.
